Last month I posted about how I’d fallen asleep during an episode of The Bachelor, which is usually my favourite TV show.
I didn’t know if it was because I was in a state of shock or if I was simply going through a bad period of sleep.
I’d had no idea what I was doing when I fell asleep.
It wasn’t like I’d been drinking, so why?
I was in the middle of a week-long whirlwind of work, which meant I was still having to deal with a ton of other stressors.
The Bachelor had been a huge part of my life since my teens.
It was the show that taught me everything I know about the business, how to do things, how not to be a jerk, and how to be my best self.
And yet, when I woke up that night, I had no clue what I had done wrong.
For a couple of months I was a little worried that I’d accidentally caused myself to fall asleep during a scene, but it didn’t occur to me until the following day that it was the worst mistake I’d ever made.
It made me think about my life.
When I finally made it through that episode without falling asleep, I realized that it had been the first time in my life I’d really felt like I could sleep.
I’d gone through the worst of my depression and anxiety and I’d realized I wasn’t really in the mood to work.
I could hardly do anything, let alone sleep.
My friends told me I should take a break and have a nice nap, but I had nothing left.
Then I saw a post on Facebook about an exercise program called Sleep Walk.
It offered a free one-hour session of sleep to anyone who signed up and completed a five-minute warmup before starting the workout.
This was a lifesaver.
I’ve always had to do my own warmups and then do them on my own.
It’s a very simple thing to do, and it’s a big help.
But after seeing my friend who’d signed up for Sleep Walk, I decided to try it.
As I finished up the warmup, I noticed that the warm-up had become my favourite thing in the world.
The program has helped me feel better about myself, and now I feel a lot more relaxed.
I was so exhausted when I started the program, but with Sleep Walk I felt like nothing was holding me back.
So when I finally went to bed and had a nice, peaceful night’s sleep, I was happy.
It seemed to me that it made me feel like I was making progress in my mental health.
And it felt like a positive thing.
It didn’t last long, however, as I soon discovered that the program wasn’t for everyone.
One of the problems with Sleepwalk is that it’s based on a very strict program.
It asks you to be extremely patient and take small, short breaks to be mindful of your body, and then repeat the session if necessary.
After only a few weeks, I began to feel very anxious.
I couldn’t go to sleep and felt like everything was getting to me.
I had a hard time getting out of bed.
I still have nightmares, but they’re not the nightmares I’ve been having lately.
Instead, I have an overwhelming feeling of dread that I can’t seem to shake.
I started getting really anxious and started wondering if I could ever make it through a day without getting a bad headache.
That’s when I noticed a problem.
I hadn’t really slept at all the day before, and I had the most severe headaches that I’ve ever had.
The headaches weren’t even coming on after a night of sleep, and they didn’t go away.
Noticing this, I went back to Sleep Walk and tried it again.
This time I had another one of the most horrible nightmares I’d had since I was 15.
I woke with a headache and didn’t remember what I’d just seen.
It took me about an hour to get over that one, but by then I was completely drained.
Now that I know that I have to be extra careful with my sleep, it’s no longer a bad idea to take a couple breaks during the week.
And that’s where my first-hand experience with SleepWalk really comes in.
SleepWalk doesn’t do much for me, so it doesn’t help me much.
However, it really helped me in my first few weeks of work as I began the process of making myself better at my job.
Because Sleepwalk isn’t about taking a break, it helps you relax.
It helps you feel more at ease.
It doesn’t take a lot of practice to start.
And I think that’s the most important thing about it.
