How a hacker is attacking Amazon’s online shopping cart and forcing shoppers to use the same credit cards for all of its products and services.
As of Friday morning, Amazon has already been hacked for a second time.
The attack on the shopping cart occurred at 6:45 a.m. on Thursday.
The breach, which was reported to Amazon’s security department, involved more than 400,000 accounts in the U.S. and Canada, Amazon said in a statement Friday morning.
The attack was not the first time Amazon has been attacked by hackers.
Last year, hackers targeted its e-commerce portal and the e-book store Kindle Unlimited, according to The Associated Press.
Amazon says the attack was a targeted attack that did not target its network.
Amazon says it is working to protect customers.
Amazon said it is also adding more tools to its security to help prevent future breaches.
