Ubisoft has confirmed Tomb Raider 2, a new action-adventure sequel set in an alternate timeline, for both PS4, Xbox One and PC.
The studio previously revealed that the sequel will arrive in 2017.
Tombraider 2 is the first entry in the Tomb Raider franchise, which began with 2007’s Tomb Raider: Anniversary.
It was critically acclaimed and spawned sequels Tomb Raider and The Lost Legacy, as well as the 2012 reboot Tomb Raider Returns.
Tiger Woods and the Tiger Woods PGA Tour have teamed up for the new film, which stars Tiger Woods and his Tiger Woods World Golf Championship team, along with the new characters Lara Croft, the player character in the original game, as she navigates a series of new environments.
The sequel will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and PC on May 12, 2019, Ubisoft said.
The first Tomb Raider was released on October 14, 2019.
