Apple has launched its newest app for the iPad 2, the Apple Store, to go live today.
The iPad 2 will feature a new shopping experience similar to the iPad mini 2, with the ability to browse through more than 300,000 items, including many new and discounted products.
Apple says the new shopping app will be available from 10am local time (12:00 GMT) on September 15th, while the iPad will go live at 10am GMT on September 22nd.
The store is the latest step for Apple as it looks to compete with Google’s Play store and Amazon’s Kindle Store, which have dominated the tablet market.
It is also designed to help Apple continue to offer the latest products and services.
Apple CEO Tim Cook said in a blog post that the new app is designed to offer users a better experience on the iPad.
“This is not just another way for Apple to give people new ways to buy things,” Cook wrote.
“We want to make sure that you get the best of everything Apple has to offer, while also giving you the ability in the future to browse more than 30,000 products and more than 600,000 apps.”
The new shopping interface, which was unveiled at Apple’s WWDC conference last year, is similar to that found on the new iPad.
The new iPad features an updated version of Apple’s popular App Store.
The Apple Store is also available to download from the App Store for iPhone and iPad.
It offers a wealth of apps, games, and movies for the device.
The app is available to buy and sell items on the App store, and will also offer deals on other items.
It is not the first time Apple has brought a new product to its App Store, with previous releases including the new iPhone 5S and the iPhone 6, which launched in early September.
